Health Services, a completely revised version of the 1991 Glossary.

The work stems from the Entraide Traduction Santé (ETS) network's decision to update its publication and to communicate its most recent research findings to the health services community.

With the addition of nearly 400 concepts and titles, the Glossary now contains approximately 3 100 entries as well as definitions, observations, and numerous cross-references allowing readers to identify related concepts more easily. Readers will find a wide range of terms relating to medical and hospital organization, diagnostic procedures and nursing techniques as well as names of instruments and devices, occupational titles, names of organizations, and even social services concepts.

The Glossary of Health Services is intended for health professionals as well as writers, translators, terminologists, interpreters, revisors and all those working in the health services.
