The Translation Bureau is pleased to present the Pan-African Glossary of Sports to all Francophone and African countries on the occasion of the Fifth Games of La Francophonie that were held in Niger in December 2005. This glossary consists of 300 terms — 118 terms for track and field, 89 terms for boxing and 93 terms for football (soccer) — French, Hausa, Lingala, Manden and Swahili, with English as the reference language.
